I have seen a few posts about import and export opportunities and i would like to direct you to an excellent government backed site that will give you advice and opportunities in you particular sector and country.

They have specialists in market sectors and advisor local to you. I had lunch with some of thier top guys at christmas and they are very helpful and keen to help UK companies export thier goods and services.

We've been working with UKTI since last November.

We completed an intense four-day 'Passport to Export' programme towards the back end of November.

After recently doing some primary market research amongst various countries, we are now about to select our chosen country/s. The next step will be to commision OMIS to complete the market research on our behalf.

First Class!

I would personally recommend them, furthermore once you've done the 'Programme' you qualify for the funding! :D

Our particular ITA is absolutely fantastic, offering lots of help and advice.

We've also been invited to a Business Awards Dinner at the Reebok next month...and all paid for :!:

I was talking with one of thier directors over lunch and he was very open about the funding that is available. As i believe, it is up to 50% of export costs that also includes your income so if you pay yourself £200 per day and work several days on exporting a product this month you could claim half of that back.
