I've been having an extension built on our house. The work started in August last year, by May it was pretty much complete, now there are just a few things to be done to get it signed off by building control.
All the work was being done by a builder who sub-contracted some of the work out. It's now been almost 3 months since the electrical company have been at the house, but today I got an email from the guy who owns the company to say that there is another bill to pay for work done by the electrical company.
I'm not entirely sure what this is for, but a copy is being sent to me.
I just wondered if there was a time limit for suppliers to give private customers an invoice for their work? Could something else come out of the blue like this?
