As anyone used silktide? Is it worth doing? Have you displayed your score on your site if you have been given a score?
I have just done mine and it came back at 8.1, I have displayed the icone on my home page. I am just wondering if this is good practice for a website or not.

Hi Taz
Looks to me that by having Silktide's logo on your page is just a way of them getting free promotion from you. After all, they are web designers but if you don't mind, that's fine. When your site starts to get PR you'll be giving some of it away via those links, do you want to do that?
Well done on page 1 of Google by the way. Try taking out your last keyword, and change your decription to read
"Providing helicopter handling training and qualifications in accordance with civil aviation authority and international aviation regulations". That should move you up a little.
I've also changed the lower case 'p' to a capital 'P'. Note: Before you make any changes make sure you rename your home page to something like
"index-google1-5.html" , then make my suggested changes. Doing things this way means you'll always have a copy of a high performing page should you ever need to put it back.
Hope that is helpful. :)
and don't forget to add an 'alt' tag to your image in your sig using your most required keywords.

Cheers for the feedback and advice, as for the alt tag in my sig (sig?).
Just tried index page index-google 1-5.html and it came up online as 403 forbidden so i changed it back.

Hi Taz
The image you use when you post wants to have an alt in it as links from UKBF seem to be factoring into search engines. If you're unsure about renaming the page PM me and I'll give you my phone number if a chat is easier.
