PR Update in progress

If I'm reading this right (and the tool is to be believed) theShoppersBible can expect a PR of 4 after the next PR update.

Out of intrest the domain was only registed in November so I would have thought we would have sat at 0 for a while.

I've never seen this tool before and I've got a couple of questions:

(1) What do the numbers in the LH column mean? They look like IP addresses to me.

(2) How do you know which one will be your next page rank?

The numbers in the left hand column are the IPs of the various servers that deal with toolbar queries (ie, pagerank requests).

Its the Google datacentres IP addresses and each bar is the current pagerank showing for your URL.

The "idea" behind the tool is that if different Google Datacenters (the IPs on the left) are showing different PR values, then the values are in the process of being updated.

I'm not sure if that is actually true though. I guess only time will tell!

The googledance tool is really useful as well, well done to the person who wrote that tool and flogged it to SEOCHAT.com!

It was good for us - we picked up a 4 with all our clients picking up a 3 with a direct URL link to their own site. Even those who joined during the update got the 3.
