Hello again! couldnt find a suitable place for this post so i dumped it here.
diggers cut through my connection cable and telewest took ages to fix it :(
and thats why i have not been posting. did you miss me :D

Disagreed. Ask a simple question, get a simple answer. I too didn't miss you. Besides, if Nigel replied with anything longer, it would have been more harsh. I know that deep down he was only replying with one word out of kindness.

Tom, you're just so right. For 45 mins no-one had bothered to welcome back sublime. I felt that he may be feeling a bit down, thinking that no-one seemed to care. I therefore took it upon myself to 'break the ice' so to speak, and possibly stimulate some reaction so poor sublime can once again fit in with us. The question: 'Did you miss me?' as you quite correctly point out, requires a categorical answer and does not invite expansion. Therefore 'Yes' or 'No' is the only means of responding. Had sublime had posed a question as 'Hayles' did recently, 'What have I missed?' the response would be totally different.

Welcome back sublime. Perhaps you have not been around long enough to make an impact.
I took a deliberate week off earlier this year and no one noticed and I have been here since 2004
