Hey guys,


i have to do a case study on a entrepreneur for university. i was wondering if anyone on the forum, would consider themselves as an entreprenuer and can spare 20 minutes to answer a few question.

entrepreneur is defined as : "A person who organizes, operates, and assumes the risk for a business venture."


if you could help, the help would be very much appreciated.



Here are the questions.

1. Do you own a business?

2.were you the founder of the business?

3. how many employees does your business employ?

4. how do you keep them motivated ?

5.how was the business model for the company developed?

6.was your company developed by venture capital, private investment, loans or personal funds?

7. Do you feel your company has distinct corparate culture (professional values & beliefs)?

8.what is the legal structure of your company.(sole trader , ltd e.t.c)

9.Describe some of the obstacles you have encountered along the course of building your company? How were these overcome?

10. when you were starting-up did you find advisors helpful?

11. what were the key success factors, in the sucess of your business?

12. have other organisations helped, your organisation grow, if so what are they?

13. how have you kept the edge over your competitors?

14.How important do you consider networking and making business cantacts for success as an entrepreneur?

15.any final advice for businespeople starting up?

Isn't the original meaning for Entrepreneur "to undertake"?
