I have a domain that previously had wordpress on it. I deleted that wp and installed it again.
Now when i set it up i get a "you already have wordpress setup"
I deleted the original myslql database so what other steps do i have to take to get wordpress to ackowledge the new one?
Thanks.

You won't need to touch those other files. You should ensure that your wwwrooot directory is completely empty, ans start a fresh with both your database and hosting space. This, in theory should solve your problem.
When you say it says "Already installed" - what exactly can you see on the page? The wordpress setup screen?

Wordpress automatically installs with the table prefix _wp, so in the config file, change this to something else. if this fixes your problem, you hadn't completely emptied the database, however it will all work fine because it will be a completely new installation!

You need to flush the database, delete the table holding the wp info then set it up again, also remove every file, don't leave any.

Just change the config file parameters to different values that before. That should work.

Did you use an automated script to install Wordpress from your control panel, if so which one? Was it fantastico?
If so, look for the .fantasticodata directory and remove the Wordpress entry under it.
Forgot to add, because it has a . at the start by default it is hidden, turn on hidden files in cpanels file explorer or your FTP client.

Install it into a new directory/folder.
