Hi there. Any ideas as to why outlook might keep freezing? As far as I can tell I don't have any virus. Virtual memory seems to be running low too.

I would guess that the two are connected. Have you checked to make sure that no updates are available for your current outlook first of all?

I am having issues with outlook also, its not my server or the laptop cos i tried it on my desktop and its the same.
One thing in common though, I have an aol connection.
Maybe thats it.

I have it crashing sometiems when I spell check, apparently that's to do with the spell check in word.

Which version of Outlook are you using? How much RAM has your computer got? Have you got other programs open when the problem happens - if so, which ones?
Have you checked your cmputer for viruses, trojans, spyware, adware, etc?

What size is your PST file?
The bigger that gets, the slower Outlook becomes.

cannot really offer assistance here as i am a Microsoft outlook user.
I will say those, mind out for those WAB files, it is not as easy to backup the email addresses in them as u might originally think

I use Microsoft Outlook but dont have any problems. You havent recently downloaded the new version of MSN 8 by any chance! :(

i did use outlook 8, but i took it off.more trouble than it was worth :-)
