Hi all

My comany has provided me with a mobile phone (contract between company and phone provider). Do I need to add back a proportion of the cost in my corporation tax return in relation to private use?

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

No, the use of the mobile is allowable in full and you can reclaim the VAT if registered.

You never add anything back in a corporation tax return for private use.

Do bear in mind the benefit in kind if the mobile is a Blackberry (it is subject to different rules to a 'normal' mobile phone).
