I work a man called Sean Chandler who uses models to do this. You can visit his site here http://www.shdmodelagency.co.uk and he will be able to sort you out.

Please say Matt Kendalll told you about him.

Hi Simon

When you say distribute do you mean by hand or by post?

The royal mail have various packages for sending out leaflets. Have a look at this:

Hope that helps.

Was just looking at this - it might be more appropriate but it all depends on how many you are sending out.

I like the idea of models, but not for leaflets, the enquiry was for upto 20000 by hand door to door, i have the staff and transport etc but i dont want to price myself out of a job, a lot of companies use printers who distribute but this company has already had them printed.

We were quoted £36.95 per 1,000 to deliver 110,000 leaflets by Solus Infill (door to door delivery). Other companies charge around £45 per 1,000.

How do they manage that?

Are they actually sticking these leaflets through a door with nothing else for 3.7p each?

Or are they also doing leaflets for supermarkets etc and your's will be one of a number done at the same time?

This is an important question as it will probably have an effect on your response rates.

(and I'm curious because I'm doing some leaflets for a client starting March/April and I haven't figured out who's going to distribute them)

It is very cheap. Round here they do it for even less. Its not totally ineffective either - I have hired services from door drops. Although I am still not certain about whether to call the guy who claims to be an authentic voodoo doctor.

Thanks guys,

I dont think i could go that cheap but can guarantee that it will be 1 team per client and will do random address checks to make sure staff are not binning them,
I'll let you know how i get on.
Cheers

Hi

Get a qoute from www.letterboxdistribution.com they seem to be one of the biggest around London. It could give you a good idea how to price.

Honestly, I don't know how they do it. We have a mailing of 358,000 going out in the Somerset area. The majority of it is going out through Royal Mail and the sectors that they cant fulfil are being done through Solus.
