I've used these people for over a year now and have been excellent value but I've noticed that standards are dropping considerably. At the moment I can't access some domains and they say some of their servers are down. Several hours on and I still can't access FTP or cpanel. This is unacceptable for the companies that hold accounts with them especially if it's ecommerce.

This isn't the only problem I've had with them in the last few months:

- Bought domain privacy for a few domains. 6 months and several emails later they still haven't done it for all of them.

- On two occasions I purchased .co.uk domains with the .com domain only to find several days later the uk domain hadn't been purchased and was still on the market.

- Bought extras such as SSL, Dedicated IP and privacy to find the transaction didn't go through.

- An ECommerce website got hacked and used for bank phising. When the bank reported the site justhost.com shut the whole account down and sent me an email saying your account has been suspended including all other websites under that account! They would not reinstate the account unless I gave them permission to wipe the whole ecommerce website, along with it all the logs and data that would have helped me find out how they hacked the site and prevent it in future. When I asked for all FTP logs for the account they said as it's been more than 2 days we no longer have them????... basically meaning they didn't record them. Each email I sent took over 3 hours for them to reply meaning it took 2 days to get everything sorted for a job that should have taken 10 mins.
On the last day they emailed me the account was now active. I visited my websites and non worked. So I had to email them again and wait another 3 hours for a reply. The reply said: what seems to be the problem? Another message was sent saying 'try visiting the websites and see'. Another 3 hours later a reply 'try now' and this time it worked. Clearly they hadn't even bothered checking to see if the account and domains were active.

- As I have quite a few accounts and domains with them I probably use them every day but I notice at least for 1/2 hours each day their FTP and websites are unresponsive sometimes having to wait about 20-30 secs for FTP to connect and upload.

Has anyone else had problems with justhost.com?

There is a simple saying with hosting services. "You get what you pay for"

Unlimited disk space, bandwidth, websites etc doesn't exist.

I think after having such an experience you should just move away and this time make sure you don't make the same mistake.
Check public reviews on google for the company you select next.

They were the first hosting company I used, I have about 5 domain on 1 account but only really use 3. I've never had any issues with connection or downtime to my knowledge and the support has always been fast and useful.

I did open a reseller account at one point then cancelled shortly after when I saw a better offer. They were still very helpful and there were no delays in cancellation or transferring the domain.

I did however have a similar issue where my account was suspended following a hacked site. They were quick to give me access as soon as I responded to them and I just deleted the site as it wasn't even being used, an unfinished sideline. They were also helpful by checking the FTP logs to see if the additional files had been uploaded via my account which they hadn't so I was confident the fault was a bug in the software (Zen Cart) rather than a compromised password.

wow 12 hours on and website still not functioning properly. Can't access the control panel now, just get a blank screen. This is the last time I use justhost.

What are their support saying, I don't think i've ever waited more than 15 minutes for a response to a question.

Never used them but they look ridiculously cheap! If your site is important to you then I recommend spending a bit more

sorted after nearly 20 hours. Apparantely they were having problems with their ports for cpanel. Something they were completely unaware of until the 3rd email telling them to actually visit the website cpanel instead of asking me stupid questions like ping the website through cmd.
