Thanks for the welcome :D!
There's a couple of members on here who run VA companies, it seems to be the next big thing!
Welcome Pink and Bubbly, it'd be great to know more about you! :D!

About me:
I'm 54 married for the second time last year. I have four children of my own, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, three grandchildren (two born last year the other one is coming up to 3), three step-children and two cats. And a sports car.
I am starting up my own business and working from home to give me the freedom to choose when I work so that I can have some time to do those important things in life like take the grandchildren to feed the ducks.
I have been a secretary working at Senior Manager and Director level for some 15 years, having re-trained just before I turned 40. Previously worked as an Estate Agent.
My present position is Project Administrator with responsibility for the finance side, ensuring cashflow for the company, I am also Company Secretary, so deal with all the legal side of running the company as well. As this is a funded project and the funding is coming to an end this year I have to write my own exit strategy. As I have been my own boss, so to speak, for some three years now I really can't see me going back to a 9 - 5 desk job!
Oh and Pink Bubbly is my tipple of choice with G&T coming a close second.
So that's me.

Just hope the knowledge I have gathered over the years is the useful sort! My husband reckons I have a brain full of information some of it as much use as a chocolate teapot!
