Does anyone here do this. Its obviously not a new & exciting idea, however i thought about it few months ago &then my mam came to me with an idea, she was bit deflated when I said it already exists.

Buy in Toys, which can be customised to make them unique, or have a few variations to them

Like Teddy Bears, Soft Toys, Small Toys, Statues or buy a bulk amount of Items and sell them on?

heres one for example

I was wondering if many have had success, it alway something ive been interested in at least trying

We do bespoke manufacturing and importing for a few companies. It is a highly competitive field and you have to know how to get the suppliers and negotiate the prices. You also have to have good distribution channels set up to ensure turnover.

But it is a good business if you get it right ;)

We also import customised promotional items for our clients - we have an office in China and our agent keeps a very close eye on everything, be very careful as it is a potential minefield!

Good luck :)

We personalise teddies for some of our trade clients, basically they take an order for a teddy with a message embroidered onto the top.
The order is sent to us, we embroider and send out to our client. The client doesn't need to carry any stock, other than display items in the case of a retail outlet, if its online, you just need to show an image and description

To view some sample bears, go to my clothing website www.embroiderydirect.co.uk click on the link for the online catalogue and then click on 'Gifts and Accs'
