Hello

Everyday we get asked the same questions and we are also told about the scams people have fallen for. To make ordering business cards (and all types of printing) easier I have compiled a consumer aware guide that you can use when purchasing your printing.

The guide clearly explains;

Complicated printing terminology
The scams to look out for
What business cards actually do
How to get the most from your cards
How to design your business cards
Questions you should always ask your printer

I have also tested several “free” business card printers, the results are shocking! You will be surprised how much “free” will actually cost you in nuisance calls, spam and junk mail.

To get this free consumer magazine please e-mail us here info@mkprinting.co.uk and we will e-mail it to you straight away.

Regards

Sounds like it is a serious problem. I know my print pretty well, but if anyone doesn't this would be useful.

If you have a printer who you use and trust then you really have nothing to worry about. However each year thousands and thousands of people still sign up with these unethical printers and it causes a lot of problems.

If anyone has a question regarding printing in general, either ask me here or PM me and I will answer it for you.

Thanks for the massive response I have had to this guide. I have e-mail out over 40 copies and many of those to people here.

I believe it is important to educate people in your products and also the industry you are in. I know many bad issues that are in the printing industry, so I feel it only right for others know this so in future they can make an informed decision.

If people would be interested, I am thinking of doing a whole load more of these guides including posters, flyers and other marketing material.

I would also be interested in read other people's guides from other industries. Is anyone interested in writing one?

p.s. if you want the guide please e-mail me at info@mkprinting.co.uk

Please don't send me another one! It'll take me 6 months to get through the first one

It's pretty heavy reading, I didn't think it would be a long as that!

Well I thought it is better to give people more information than less. I did take me about 4 hours to do, I like writting it seems.

The thing is I write like I talk, if anyone has ever spoken to me you will know I can talk, a lot. I get into a subject and then just run with it.

I have had several people e-mail saying they read the guide and now know so much more about printing and will use it over and over. They also said they have fallen victim to the "free" business card scams I talk about.

This was going to be a quick reply too, see what happens.
