Hi all,

Thought I would show you a new charity related website I launched a couple of weeks ago. The website is an arts and crafts directory where artists and crafters can list their business and in return make a donation (via JustGiving) to a number of charites.

Let me know what you think : http://www.craftsforcharity.co.uk

Thanks
Mick

Hi,

I know this post is a year old, but I have only just seen it. As a fellow crafter who is also interested in supporting charities, I have used your banner as my profile pic on facebook. Hope that's ok?

Hi Gingercat,

Firstly this post is not a year old (it was started a couple of days ago).

It is nice to meet a fellow crafter and your willingness to support my project, however could you kindly remove the banner from your facebook page and this forum.

I would welcome the use of the banner to advertise my site but not as personal profile pictures.

Thanks
Mick

Firstly, I looked at your join date! Easy mistake..sorry you took offence.

Secondly, didn't realise you would take offence at a fellow crafter advertising your website..sorry! I just had one of my friends see it too!

I will not bother you or your website again.

Hi,

I didn't take any offence on both counts, in fact I took it as a compliment.

The profile pictures on forums and facebook etc are there to represent yourself (not other people or companies)...so my comments were for your own benefit than anything else.
