I am after recommendations for screen sharing tools where I can talk to someone on the phone and share/show what I am doing on my screen with them for demos of systems and training purposes.
Also I want to be able to take over their screen for support type issues too.
This is for me to support remote workers but also clients too who use a dedicated CRM system set up by us (just to put this in context)
I've had Skype and Teamviewer recommended to me but just thought I would ask on here for peoples views and experiences of what tools are good for this
Thanks
:)

A good one is Microsoft shared view, http://connect.microsoft.com/content/content.aspx?SiteID=94&ContentID=6415
this is a bit like goto meeting, it allows you to share your appliaction with someone. The only down side is you can not use it to remote onto their machine, but they can run the software and invite you to join and give you control over their application.
The other good point is it is free.

I often use Mikogo (http://www.mikogo.com/) for this type of thing. Very simple to use and free.

Have only used skype for that.
The advantage is that a high percentage of people already use it and have it installed.

any good VNC system, but I have moved over to teamviewer!
In fact, I am on a PC 130 miles away right now!

I used Teamviewer today and it is brilliant. However it is only free for non-commerical use :)
I've looked at skype but I dont think I can see the screen that I am sharing with that.
Will look at the other ones now so thanks everyone :)

NetViewer - have used for many years, though again only free for non-commercial use. Also Logmein, I have used the free one, but it does need a client installed, so not necessarily as easy to use first time.

We use logmein (paid version) but I've just tested Mikogo above which seems to be superb.
