Have you got a forum??

Since having my own website I have been trying for months now to fully understand how to get traffic to my site. I currently have around 800 visitors per month but would like for it to grow. The problem is I think you need a PhD in understanding what the hell people are on about when they try to explain how to get your site noticed e.g. Metatags. H1 warping, goodle blah blah blah. I find it all to much to understand so I am going to try and market my site the old fashioned way, by recommendations and advertising.

So I need your help but I realise that I need to give something back in return and so came up with the following idea.

Forums - On my website I have a forums link. When people click on that they see a coloured logo of a forum with about 3 - 4 sentences of what the forum is all about. That'll be the selling pitch :lol:
It's free to have your fourm link on my site but all I ask in return is some form of advertising back from you. I'll let you decided what you'd like to offer but bare in mind the better the advertising for me the higher up the page you'll be.

Hi Toni :D

I did use the basic one but there are a few issues I have with it. For instance I have had to make postage the same all over the world as I couldn't have 2 types of postage on there only a discount for bulk buying but what I have will do for now. :D
