Please email me if anyone is interested in swapping lists of email addresses for Sales etc.
I have approximately 2000 email addresses.
Thanks

Is this not likely to put you in breach of the Data protection Act 1998 (etc) by passing on data to third parties? I would not want to see anyone on here get fined 5000GBP

I must admit I thought it was as well but going on the amount of spam I get I dont think a lot of people care! I personally would never share my member database unless each individual person had given permission and knew exactly who it was going to.

Um Elite, seems a great way to do business - I am sure you have told the email address owners, that any tom, dick and harry can email them.

The spam you get may well come from outside the UK so the aforementioned legislation has no application. However, if you are based in the UK, then it applies to you/your business and you run the risk of being fined.
As they say' ignorance of the law is no defence' ;)

Yup - high risk stuff guys - you may well lose clients and cash if people think you're giving away their email addies.

Yes but do you also have to ask companies who's email you have permission first before you send them. as some would not appreciate a cold caller.
I just thought when i saw post title that the person posting wanted to exchange his email with us on here.
so ill ask if anyone wants to just exchange my email im happy to as i enjoy chatting to people. ;)

The email addresses i have are not custumers but potential customers which any one of you could buy from a mailing company.
Just thought it was an idea to increase business for everyone without cost thats all !
