View Full Version : Director Resignation

I have had a search through the forums and think I have got this but just wanted to run it past some of you.

I run a limited company with 2 directors. The company was formed with 100 £1 shares and we allocated 1 each to each other. My business partner now wishes to resign from the business. I have gone onto the companies house web filing and completed the TM01 to terminate the director. As for his share I think he can just sign the back of the certificate or similar to assign it to me and I don't need to touch the SH01 form which says that we have 2 shares allocated. On a side note that form says we have paid 0 and we have 0 unpaid, Is this correct? On the next annual return I will say that I have 2 shares and the director has none. Does this sound right?

Thanks!

Do I just keep that form for our records? It doesn't have to be sent off to companies house?

Apparently I'm not allowed to post "No" as it's too short

Plenty of places on line where you can buy one. Can't see why you need the  just because I point out that a form is out of date, and having searched already on my own account I'm certainly not going to spend even longer searching for somebody else.

It would have been nice you to have given the link if you had it to hand so that I can update my knowledge as we all have to do from time to time.

If you can't be bothered no problem - have a nice weekend.

It's not a question of not being bothered. I can't find a link to a free form to post. There are plenty of examples of the old form out there but I know from searching before that the new form is hard to find.

I can link to somebody who will sell you one for a fiver, or even for £20+, but I think that's a tad pricy
