first of all hello to all here

i am looking for a company or person to Sponsor a project i am running here in the philippines

ok a little bit of background on this i am a english guy now living in the philippines i live in a small city here and i have notice a large number of people that cannot afford medical aid and basic living items so i started a project to help with this problem i am providing some free medical aid and help other to gain a income to allow them to support there familys

just last week i went to my local hospital to get some tablets and just as i was entering the hospital a man with a bad wound to his side and cheast was bleeding badly but was still tryed to leave as he could not afford to pay for anything more then a dressing i of course help this man with his treatment he told me he was a pedicab driver which is a tricycle that acts like a local taxi he fell from his bike and hence his injuries

i personaly am doing all i can but i have limits to what i can do on my own and out of my own pocket so what i am looking for is a sponsor to help with this i am not needing a huge amount of money just a regular small amount to allow me to set up a small office/help centre were people can come for aid and help many just need a helping hand and many repay you for the help and aid you give the amount that i am looking for is 50000 peso a month which is about 750 pounds a month
this amount would enable me to put a help centre in place and stock it with most needed items

any help would be very kind and help many people here

thank you for reading

Yes, it is sad that there are millions of people throughout the world without access to clean water, a home, healthcare, welfare or and education in Phillipines and many other countries.

It's great to hear that you have an interest in supporting people in the Phillipines who need access to healthcare and welfare support.

I think you are more likely to be successful in your efforts to attract donations and ensure money is used in way to maximise benefit for those most in need if you speak to some of the the hundreds of local and international charities already working in the Philipines. This will help you find out which charities already offer healthcare support in your area and ensure you aren't duplicating resources and are providing support to those most in need.

You can then fundraise for an established charity, which will have more credibility with potential funders who can be confident that any money they give will help those in need.

thank you for your imput on this i have look into what is available locally and there is pretty much zero hence why i started there is some that offer cloths local but it took me a age to find them there right off the beaten track
as i say i am really looking for a company to sponsor the overheads of a help/aid centre i have the help to man it already and for free
there is aid in a larger city but it is 140kms away and for most people in need that is just to far i have used my own car to take a number of people there but not a easy drive as there is a mountain range in between here and there

once again thanks for your ideas

You don't know what you have got until it is gone; in this case punctuation. I gave up after the first 20 words sorry :(

In that case, you are probably best doing what most people do in this situation and raise funds from family, friends, former colleages - those who know and are able to trust you.

Unfortunately there are some unscuprulous people out there, who use the plight of others to make money and therefore without being part of a registered charity, I think you will find it hard to raise funds from those in the business community who have no connection with you.

Perhaps in the longer term, you can look at being affiliated to an existing charity.
