I have a store in ebay sell some lamps. I found so many ppl interested in it. The record shows about 100 viewers and 5 watches. But untill now, no one buy it , no one bid!
So disappointed ! why? Price? or any thing else?

Price, shipping costs, bad or little feedback, lask of description - can't really advise specifically unless you give a link to your store.

How long to end of bid?
Some wait to see who will bid first and at what price?
Did you put reserve on it?
What is the description?

Quite a few people wait until the last few hours (or minutes) to bid......i know i do! So for me, i'd be watching your lamp and then i would bid when there was about 5 minutes to go on the auction.

Yes I am sorry to say that there is; if it is an auction aimed at the uk.
A lot of uk buyers prefer to buy from uk sources. We have seen really low prices for the actual item with very high prices for delivery.
I dont know if it is the same now because I dont go on ebay as much as I used to; but sometimes the categories were flooded with chinese goods and the uk auction sellers' items were lost in the listings.

Yes lots. Many people have been scammed by overseas sellers so there is little trust. Not saying you are untrustworthy but many will be worried that they will pay for a lamp and it never turns up.

Dear all,
Thanks for your ideas! I Know there is scammers. But scammers is not a exclusive phenomenon in China. I live in Shenzhen, near Hongkong, lots of ppl do oversea business. I guess most are sincere and honesty. They did make delivery to destination countries. But these is problem here:
1. Lost parcles. Some seller make cheap goods without shipping charge, say"free shipping". I know lots of buyer like "free shipping". But it is really not safe. Sometimes it lost on the way, or hold by Customs. In this sutuation, there is always dispute between two sides. Buyers thought seller cheated them. seller don't want to pay back as they overcharged by ebay and paypal.
2. Mostly, quality is equally to price. Some guys buy Camera with pixcel 1600 x 1200 priced only at 50usd. How you think about the quality? Sure, just an adult toy! Never compare with the famouse bran like Nikon, Cannon.

By the way, I'm sorry that the local buyers are lost in listings. I hate some buyers putting 0.01 bid and useless thing on ebay too!
