Hello, I have set up my account in Kashflow and entered my bank transactions. What I need to know is how do I handle purchases. Example I bought a Kettle from Argos.

Am I right in thinking I need to create a supplier called Argos so I can enter this purchase against that, or can I enter an item in Bank Account and allocate it to that like I have done for rent. It would seem a lot of work to set up a supplier for every small item i am buying to start up.

Sorry if this is a stupid question im totally new to all this stuff.

Thanks for any help.

I would create a "supplier" called General Supplies or something similar and record individual items on a spreadsheet then once a month you can enter the total in to Kashflow.

For purchase like that I'd create a payment from the bank account (if paid from this account or a C/card if this was the case).

It can become inefficient to manage a supplier for general expenses.
