Pay Per Call is a new advertising service in the Search Engine Marketing revolution. Pay Per Call (PPCa) wok similar to the Pay Per Click (PPC) campaign & setting up is quite easy & straightforward. Basically, it drives phone leads to your business, rather than clicks to your website.

i paid for pay per call in november and I have had zero calls to date, so my money should last a good 7 or 8 years.

Hi Michael,
indeed i do own paypertext.co.uk as well as many other variants,
trust me mobile gathering adverts in search results pushing out the info rather than clicking to a website is going to be hot hot hot!
I am looking at developing a solution, but sure that the big players in PPC are already doing this.

Daniel, please clarify exactly how you see ppt working. Are you saying that mobile users are pushed text ads and the advertiser pays for each one that's received by the mobile user? If that's the case I could be interested if someone could provide a good number of mobile users who may be interested to buy what I'm selling. For example...special deals on theatre tickets...I'm assuming it would work in a similar way to ppc, a bid system...

Hi Lawrence,
I envisage it working similar to google ads or any other cpc,
except that you text a short code for the info you need.
eg a search for cheapest sony lcd, may return a number of links but also a sc to text to like '44456 Sony Lcd'.
The message then comes back with say a promo code to get 10% off. The advertiser than has this persons details to market to in the future as well as some excellent details of product interests.
Anyone wanna do a JV, need some reasonable cash to get into it?

Hi Daniel, thanks for the upshot. I'm in middle of a new travel venture so not ready for another venture just yet. If you do get it going I'll be happy to alpha/beta test and help getting it to market though...
Cheers

Hi ebonybailey,
Pay Per Call is similar to pay per click (PPC) & which is a "New Advertising Service In The UK Search Engine Marketing Revolution!". So it takes time to reach advertisers/publishers to understand & become more popular.
I hope this helps...!

Thanks Lawrence,
I am watching the two big UK players, who I anticipate will have this service available in a matter of weeks.
If there is room for an indy supplier I am going to look at.
As always too many plates being juggled!
Lots of people I know whow utelise PPC are having low revenue returns on PayPerCall at present. this will change but I think the text thing will be a LOT bigger.
