Hi Hedgehog
You need to check with your host to see if you have any, and if you do, how many email addresses with the package you have taken.

Hi Hedge,
Whoever is hosting your site should offer you a 'control panel.' Log into that and there'll be a tab for email forwarding. You should find menus to insert the relevant redirection details.

OK,
If the package does not include any e-mail addresses is there an alternative provider that i could us that doesn't look 'cheap'. i.e. one that doesn't have Yahoo or Hotmail ending for example.

Check with your current host. They usually offer email packages too. So you could buy one of those on top of your current package.

Your host should provide at least one email address. If they don't then you need to think about changing host as this should come as standard. I now offer low cost hosting so I can help you out - and I'll give you lots of emails addresses :-)

All are correct above. But were are the emails going to, if they all go to you anyway then just leave it as it is. I can send anything to your domain address and you will get it.
If it is going elsewhere then do above. But if it is just for those contacting you to perceive a larger company you dont have to change anything. I know I went the long way about that but i hope you know what i mean.

you host uses CPanel as a control panel, and from the panel you should be able to add / remove e-mail accounts from the e-mail menu.
If you host does not give you a reasonable number of e-mails then tell them to or move to a different host that does.
Your CPanel access is at http://www.hedgehogtoys.co.uk:2082/ and you should login with the same username & password as you use for FTP

Obviously it does happen, but I can't imagine any host not providing at least one email address account - in my opinion it looks more professional if you have a matchin email account with your domain rather than yahoo, hotmail etc.

I'd agree, it looks 1000% better than @aol.com or @hotmail.com
I have a few setup, info@, myname@ and what I find a good one is have something a little more personal, so you can say look, heres my personal email address, for eg I have calv @datacomuk.co.uk they usually seem impressed that you are giving them a personal service, obviously doesnt apply to online shops etc, but I mean n general

Don't forget to also adjust the settings on your email software (e.g. Outlook) so that when you send a message the email software stamps it as coming from your sales@hedgehogtoys.co.uk address rather than from your "real" (Hotmail, etc) address.

it does that anyway unless you have redirection, definately get a proper pop3 box not just a redirect.
