do links on an ebay listing to your website carry any weight?

Also, what about YouTube - I dont really know much about this one but I'm able to post up some home made vids, is there a facility to put your web address in and does that carry weight also?

You are not allowed to have your website address in a listing on eBay. I believe that you can link to your website from your 'Me' page but that link can't go to a page that has product prices on it...

That's correct, you can't link from your listing, try it and incurr the wrath of the ebay gods.

Links from youtube vids don't carry any weight either but 'how to' vids are very popular so give a demo of french polishing of how to make a hidden dovetail joint (see I remembered) and you could pick up some decent traffic. Problem is it won't be very targeted, could easily be a hobby carpenter in borneo.

And it would probably be a no follow link anyway.
But not allowed to put direct link.

Some cheeky monkeys used to watermark their images and videos with their website addresses. ;)
