Yes and no, i have been with Freedom2surf for donkeys years, they are now owned by opal, who are part of talk talk (if you work up a very long line!!)
Services are ok, tech support are crap (cocky little ***** who hand out business "advice" instead of simply doing their job - if they were really capable of more than first line support for £12K a year they'd be doing it right????)
Reliability is generally good, but BT keep letting them down with network problems such as the outage this morning that was massive and took hours to resolve.

Actually There is a £30 registration fee.
Opal Office Broadband is subject to a 24 month contract and a one-off connection charge of £30. If the contract is terminated within the minimum term charges may apply.
Best wishes

Hey
I recently left orange for there pathetic attempts at providing broadband. I did speed test on opal and i received a phone call. I explained to him the problems i had with orange such as a fair usage policy and orange were cutting our speeds because of this.
I said to him i was thinking about going to the Pipex pro package , (they have now taken this of there website) It had Up to 24MB download speed and up to 1mb , i can only get 6.5 mbps on my line , i realize this and i dont mind as it is a lot more that i was getting with orange.
He then told me he could give me that with opal because opal have not taken over pipex , he carried on and told me about the phone package and about them taking over my line , all together it was £27 a month i thort great. He told me that i wouldnt have any worries over a fair usage policy as there isnt one on this package. I was told it was £30 for the router .
This was all matching up to what the Pipex package , only difference being that i would have my phone line taken over and a phone package.
I then recieved this email -
he cost for broadband including line rental is £23 per month plus the option to add on Builders to suit your needs, an example of which is unlimited peak calls (9am-5pm Mom-Fri) at £6 per month. Additional lines available to suit your business needs
Opal office Broadband includes….
Priority Traffic
Upload speeds of 1MB
Unlimited download (100GB fair usage policy)
Static IP address (upon request)
The highest speed your line can cope with (up to 24MB)
FREE Wireless router
Fantastic Call Rates to International and mobile phones
Feel free to contact me at any time either by email or on my number below. I will get back to you ASAP with any queries.
All the above is based on a 24 month contract
I couldnt access my emails because the problems with orange broadband , now i am stuck with the same problem i had with orange , the far usage policy , this is because there are 7 of us in a house hold all using Internet service , Ps3 online , xbox , nintendo wii . I have email the person who sold me th package only to be replayed to once and ignored since !!!!! Also on the bottom of the ONLY letter i have received as i have never received my welcome pack ! , it says - Unlimited usage subject to acceptable use policy , i have checked this policy and this has nothing to do with fair usage.
So overall a poor start to life with Opal when it should be PIPEX!! i am told now that he has committed me to my contract !!!
Hope someone can help !
Thanks and sorry it is a little bit long winded

Rob,
£13 is a good deal, but, unless I read it wring, it is actually £23 (assuming you also take the line).
There have been lots of negative comments re Talk Talk, but I understand they have sorted out out their act.
I use Be, which is great, but O2, who now own it, do occaisionally offer some great deals.

The Opal installation engineer is due to install a line and BB at one of our premises today. The package is £23/month, no registration or installation charge. The only extra (which we requested) was an ADSL modem for £30.
