Sheesh, you guys are a tough audience.
Yesterday I posted an introductory offer allowing you to post your products and services for free
http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/ftopic9339.php
We though it was a suitably generous offer (worth over £300 each on current prices!)
How many takers do you think I got?? I got 0, none, ziltch. I am gob smacked!!
Was it too wordy? Overuse of the word 'FREE'? Posted on the wrong day? Help us out here because this really took us back and we expected most of the free offer codes to be taken by the end of the day.
To add more spice to this (and because I really want UKBF members to use this offer) I’ll offer free images on the home page for the first two PM’s (worth a further £39 each), Free listings in the ‘Featured Items’ section for the following five (worth £9.95 each) and free bolding for the next 10 takers (worth £4.95 each)
Just to be clear, we’re giving away free promotion codes allowing you to promote your goods and services.
Come on folks, we can’t launch until we have content on there, hence our (extended) opening day sale and if I really have missed the point and no one wants free advertisings then please let me know.
Regards
DC

On the where did you go wrong, it just looks all too difficult, might be free but time is what some of us are short of.
We've got over 3,000 products how do we easily add them, can we upload a data feed (easy for us to do) or a froogle feed (opens the door to loads of shops)
Or have I got completely the wrong end of the stick? (I only spent a few moment on it!!)

Intresting question, and one I'd not thought of. Can you export to file? CSV or Excel? if so I'm sure I had handle this. Leave it with me for a few days.

I can make almost whatever you want (CSV is good)

PM me if you want the URL of the standard Datafeeds to look at
From your point of view, reading a froogle file would be good,

Hi,
Sorry I have been so busy, I saw the post and the PM, but as Top Hat has said I also have around 3000 products and it looked to complicated at first glance to set up quickly and easily.
I also have a product feed, designed for Froogle, my affiliate scheme and another for e-directory. If there is any way of loading one of those on, I would be interested.
Just let me know.
