Are there are companies that are good at looking at your websites pages/landing pages that can help better your conversions? that can identify any problems with your pages that could be potential customer put offs?

There are some basic things you can do to increase conversions these are things I do for my clients that I have found work well


Contact forms on every page normally upper left of a page
use of direct language in the copy (dont try to show how smart you are)
Strong headlines
Pictures of smiling people
testimonials
Tell people what you want them to do (calls to action)

There are so many factors that can effect your conversion rate and the issue is always finding out which change is the right change to make.

This should be approached in a scientic way with only one change being mesured at a time.

First make sure you have a good way to track goal conversion and funnel conversion. read a few papers and make one change wait for a good sample size and compare the rates did it go up did it go down. repeat for as long as you can.
