google local business resilts

I've no idea:). The way Google work it is a complete mystery to me. I was on the first page of local business results but have dropped back to page two for no apparent reason. My feeling is that my business title was too spammy as general advice seems to be that Google will only accept your business name as the title with no extra keywords added. I've also noticed another business (same geo area but different trade) who has also dropped to page 2 whilst using spammy titles so I think theres something in this. I cannot even work out how to edit my entry such is Googles inability to speak in clear easy to understand language so if you can suss it, you're a better man than me - good luck with it:rolleyes:

you'll find theres conflicting advice on this subject.....

so have you had them call you etc with a verification thing?

Yes i had the pin number call, i think it was the day before yeterday, and they said i would be listed with 24hrs, but i doubt they will do it that quick ,

Do you ever recieve calls from it?

I can recommend ali-v-8 for helping with this.

Don't know what his rates are just now, but he got me top rankings at the time so it's worth it.

Hard to say as without pinning people down in front of a PC and getting them to show me what button they pressed to find me, its impossible to work this out as most people IMO wouldnt know organic from PPC to Local Business. I guess you could use different phone numbers for each though but bit of a faff.
