I have a Brother HL-4040CN colour laser printer and have just replaced the cartridges. Has anyone any comments or experience about refilling them or should I bite the bullet and buy new ones?
It is a very good printer so I don't want to risk ruining it.

Having just been charged £20 for a new cartridge in Tesco's I'm going back down the refill route in future.

I`m with Bri on this one,been refilling mine for a long time with no dire consequences
Until now that is,Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
Tried everywhere to refill my Lexmark but no one does it :-(

I was using brother printer but a different model.
After the cartridge was empty,i went for refilling but i got bad experience.
Printing quality was going worst at day by day and i suffer a lot.
So my advice is go for cheap printer cartridge which will satisfy you with good printing quality.
