Hi,
Has anyone experienced problems with logging onto UKBF over the past week? I haven't been able to get on until now, but all other sites are ok.
Is it just me - or what???????

I usually log in automatically via my Favourites menu, but over the last 2 days I have had to enter my details each time I want to get on the site.

I do the same, but just couldn't get on at all. Happened about 2 weeks ago also - and then I was ok for 1/2 days then off again. Don't understand it?

I'm experiencing problems too. I have to enter my username and password to see the posts since last visit.

I'm experiencing problems when I want to use my normal bowser (opera) which is a pain.

Guys,
The problem with logging in is down to cookies and can be fixed by clearing all cookies on your browser from these forums, and then you should be able to login ok.

What a mare.. you sort search engine crawling for some and then others cant see the site in their favourite browsers! Hopefully when the new site goes live all these will be fixed :)

Did you see my message in the Google Friend UKBF thread the site will no longer work with Palm Proxy Server. I know this is probably very low priority but if you are interested I could give you the exact exception it is throwing.

I did see it, and the one about Opera problems aswell. The problem is trying to work out how much time and money to spend on tweaking this site when a new one is coming.

Ta for your help Ozzy. I'm back after clearing cookies. What astounds me though is that I frequent 5 other forums daily and never have the probs I have here. I still have to login here, but not with the others?

Am I supposed to be taking a hint or something? :wink:
