little red x

What causes the little red x on pictures,

I have the name of the image . png in a slideshow ,

I also have the image saved as exactly the same as in the slide,

And the image size in style at 600 x 300,

So why would it not want to show properly.........

I think i gave it too long of a name ;-(

Its when the URL is wrong or the image can't load, its the standard image that gets put in its place.

Little red x means it couldn't find your image. I highly doubt the image file was too long. Rather it was probably a small typo in the filename which meant it couldn't find the image.

Also remember if you're hosting on Linux it's mostly always setup to be casesensitive. On Windows servers it's not so you can getaway with some types of typos there :)
