A quick plea - I have just setup a website using Frontpage.
I have learnt how to create an image map on my picture, how do I get text to appear when someone hovers over the image map or hyperlink with the cursor - its really bugging me and Im sure it simple.

In Frontpage right click on the graphic and select "Picture Properties" from the menu.

Under "General" fill in the required text under "Alternative representations" "Text"

Ian thanks for the help - however not quite what I am trying to do. I have one large picture, with multiple hotspots on it - i need to be able to give each of those Hotspots text when you hover on them - can I do that

Hi Frenchie, try right clicking on the image and select 'hyperlink', then select 'screen tip' and a box will appear fro you to add your message.

You can have a different message for each image or hyperlink.

I think this is what you mean, if not, come back again. I have used Frontpage in the past, so I'm sure we can sort it!

good luck :D

Frenchie - hover your mouse, but don't click, over the KashFlow banner that appears on this site, it should say 'accountancy software'

Is this what you are trying to achieve?
