I had recently queried the value of FSB (Federation of Small Business) membership, and subsequently joined. Also joined their Forum and never even got one welcome   .

Add this to my other post about Newbizuk and we have further proof of UKBF being the most friendly and informative forum - with or without banners  .
Cheers, Nigel

the fsb forum is a very necessary place to have around as a reminder of how not to do it.

Hi cjd. An interesting slant on how negativity can be used positively

Hi Nigel, I have found the same with the FSB forum, infact I can't think of the last time I even bothered looking at it!

Its a shame about NewBiz UK aswell, but even the guy who created the forum didn't bother posting there in the end.

Long live UKBF

Too true. I wonder if I should PM thashrif and put in an offer for his site? I could then build it into something reasonable and offer it for sale on a Pixel Site. We all know how good pixel sites are, so I guess it would sell straight away

Yes, same here, though I registered there at about the same time as I joined this forum.

Not quite sure why, but it just doesn't work like this forum does.

It's because it gets no support from FSB - they didn't want it and don't believe in it. The Admin has to do everything himself and he has been told that there must be no 'advertising' of any kind by members in case it annoys the fsb member services people. So everything get censored.

It really is arcane (and very disappointing, as it tells you a lot about what the set up is actually like - feels to me like a pompous golf club with a no better than average course)

I'm registered on the FSB site too.

I think it became a bit of a chicken and egg - no one posts so no one visits.

perhaps we should all turn up and start some threads?
