Hi all,
Another biz forum a few of us were members of is now 'Account Suspended.'

All our good posts are now floating in cyberspace, which is probably where 'Thashrif' the owner is. I was even compiling a 'Diary of a Franchise' thread with heaps of good info, and now it's all gone. :cry:
I would have done the same here if we had a 'Franchise' thread, but alas, our requests have fallen upon deaf ears though. :cry:

This is the problem joining new stuff, you never know when it will go belly up. Why not start a franchise thread in time out for now or one of the other sections.

I've bought into a franchise before, it didn't work out and we had to go to Solicitors to threaten the company with court action as they gave us false accounts for the franchise we bought into. I'd love to give my input as to what to watch out for.

I've heard of many being 'dudded.' I hope the legal route worked out for you. It would be interesting to learn whether the seller was a member of the British Franchise Assn. http://www.british-franchise.org/

It's an area I'm considering looking into and have no idea where to start.

i think a franchise section would be good. it is an area where a lot of people could use assistance. it is generally a huge commitment buying into a franchise and some pointers would be valuable
