Can anybody shed any light on a Googlebase problem, please?

I followed Google's instructions for creating a feed using Excel and converting to tab delimited text.

When I uploaded I got an error message that I don't understand.

Message is

Missing required attribute: id (9 errors) Please make sure that you include all required attributes in your data feed.

Hi - Sometimes I get this too. As long as you have filled out the minimum necessary fields, you should be ok. Try copy and pasting in a fresh excel sheet and saving as tab deliminated and uploading again, this usually works for me.

Be careful with base at the moment as changes are taking place - look at Google Merchant Centre.

Thanks for the replies and sorry for not responding sooner. I got called away on Firday and didn't get back to the office.
