Help with strange backlinks in Webmaster tools

I have a website has been #1 for a local phrase for around 9 months now. It dropped a month or so ago after my hosting was infected and the site chucked up loads of 404 errors but apart from that fine and after sorting it out moved back up to #1.

Within the last week or so it has dropped to ~#14, I checked webmaster tools and instead of the usual 30-40 links showing, it showed 288 to my homepage.

All the unexpected links are from different pages on the same domain, a couple of examples are:

universitipts.com/index.php/C/BARU-BARU ini penulis berpeluang berinteraksi dengan beberapa pelajar Tingkatan Dua berhubung teks sastera untuk Komponan Sastera Dalam Bahasa Melayu (Komsas) dan rata-rata mereka mengeluh kerana menganggap teks yang dihidangkan untuk mereka ‘kunyah’ membosankan./salamraya/salamraya/salamraya.html/young@kohwaiyoung.com/young@kohwaiyoung.com/P3600/universitipts.com/index.php/C/firdaus@pts.com.my/BARU-BARU ini penulis berpeluang berinteraksi dengan beberapa pelajar Tingkatan Dua berhubung teks sastera untuk Komponan Sastera Dalam Bahasa Melayu (Komsas) dan rata-rata mereka mengeluh kerana menganggap teks yang dihidangkan untuk mereka ‚Äòkunyah‚Äô membosankan./young@kohwaiyoung.com/BARU-BARU ini penulis berpeluang berinteraksi dengan beberapa pelajar Tingkatan Dua berhubung teks sastera untuk Komponan Sastera Dalam Bahasa Melayu (Komsas) dan rata-rata mereka mengeluh kerana menganggap teks yang dihidangkan untuk mereka ‘kunyah’ membosankan./P4140/Does anyone know what they are and also why they are all showing in GWMT, It usually only shows one or two links per domain in there, not 240. They seem to be very strange urls too, not properly formatted.

I'm presuming these are responsible for the drop but I'm not sure why or how they have happened.

I can't find a link from any of the pages to my site though and also find it hard to believe I can be spammed from one single website. I could understand if it was 2000 different websites but 200 links from one site seems strange.

It's like if I added a link to my sig in this forum, I would in effect have over 1000 backlinks from the same site, can't see it doing that much damage though.

No this is a decorating site which I built for my Dad, it's still in Wordpress though.

Check to see if it's the same/similar issue, not saying it's here but could be if using the same plug ins.
