VAT returns and repayments over the holiday

Hi all.

Got a quick question i submitted my VAT return online on the 31st which was the end of this period i was wondering due to the system being down until tomorrow morning, will this affect repayments and processing of my VAT return even though it was submitted on time. Also what is the average waiting time for a VAT repayment.

Don't know the average but got one last quarter and was paid within 8 days of submitting return.

As Long as you have the email receipt that shows submission date of 31st then all is well.

I have experienced about average 2-3 weeks between submission and repayment of VAT but it varies.
