Hi

To be honest i thought this year may be slow but for some unknown reason my hits have double

Sales are up on the £5.50 sitepal package which is good because more are trying the software for the first time.

Hope your New Year has been a good one

Best

Fantastic!

Yesterday afternoon I shook hands on a deal I had pretty much thought wasn't going to happen.

I expect my client is going to add around half a million a year onto his business and I'll get a percentage of that.

So, a good day at the office.

It's all good,

not wanting to be a pessimist, I am setting contingency funds as I feel there are a number of risjk factors still present in the economy.

I am getting more and more enquiries about my software. Slow start to the year on the sales front, but a very positive feeling for the year.

I have gone live with the new http://www.sportsonline.org.uk site, which a lot of my enquiries have been waiting for, so keep everything crossed

I too have had a fantastic start to the year - which was completely unexpected as January is usually quite quiet in the world of kitchens!

I also went to a huge trade show at the NEC yesterday to find my flyers on every display of a nation kitchen companies stand!

Bonus!

Great to hear everyone is doing very well :-)

After a busy christmas, rosesbydesign had around a 2 week quiet period in early january, but that was expected really.

But since been busy, busy, very busy :-)

Valentines Day is getting closer...

"2 week quiet period in early january"

Same here, and still fairly quiet. But it looks like I'm the only one, so congrats to you lot :)

Going well with new contracts, and more to come at this rate, also my largest client wants to talk today ot tomorrow about some work, and there are a few others all wanting work done, Jan is normally dead so like you guys Im a little suprised..But I'll take it!!!

I'm not going to paint too rosy a picture :)

Jan has been good for Matrixx so far - Nov and December were stunning so don't get me wrong, I'm pleased - but we have the capacity to do so much more.

Also I have a new investor in a business that I have had for a year now (not matrixx) and a new 'franchise growth specialist' on board as of the beginning of Feb. It's definately going to be a very exciting year!

It's been my best month ever after a slow start - but mainly because a couple of bigger clients I have been talking to for months have finally come through..

I have been getting a lot of enquiries though and have a stack of proposals to get together. I don't know if it is because business is generally slack so people are turning to PR to boost themselves, or because they are feeling optimistic and likewise turning to PR to ride the wave!

At my breakfast networking meeting we found that half of us had had a booming Jan, and the other half were dead. It seems to depend what line of work you are in.

I, too, have enjoyed a 'stable' January, which is good for this time of year. Am currently working on further marketing to create some explosive growth in spring.

Also, my 'part-time' Fastlotto is enjoying some astounding results. Many people are now beginning to realise that there are far better ways of playing lotto, with the added benefit of creating an income stream.
Cheers, Nigel

It's been a slow start to the year but then no-one really wants toys in January having just spent all there money at Christmas !!!. December was fairly busy considering it was our first month of trading and the website was not up and running.
Looking forward to this year as it will set a bench mark for future years trading, hopefully we will have the nursery / creche side of things sorted out in the next month or 2 then we can concentrate on Christmas 2006....phew!!

Good question. I am so busy at the moment it's making it hard to focus, 9 websites in development, another 20 registered and 40,000 pages to put content on already...it's a mind blower.

So far so good it's going well.
