I'm thinking Amazon.co.uk, Ebay.co.uk and Pixmania.co.uk would be the biggest. Who else would be as big / important as these sites? And are there other smaller, but still popular, sites that I should consider trying to form a working relationship with on a pay per click basis.

I would not try any of the online shopping portals either you,or zigojacko suggests for your particular range of "items".

I've got to admit, I have no idea what "items" the OP are selling.

I was just simply answering the question regarding the most important portals to list on in the UK.

What products are being sold?

Well the prices are all in US $ so targeting UK shopping portals wouldn't be particularly effective unless other currencies was build into the ecommerce system.

i dont quite understand your question as shopping portals work on a CPC basis or CPA, unless your looking to push traffic to one of them using PPC as your method to get traffic.

Nonetheless, id work with Amazon and Ebay. Amazon are the biggest and Ebay is 2nd, as a marketplace.

The rest arent really worth mentioning. If you want more info pm me (I used to work in price comparison and online shopping portals).

Thanks

I'd be more concerned about how genuine the items are!

Nike trainers from China? I don't think so.

Why not? I thought products like these were often manufactured in the far east?

Yes but you can't source them directly.

Especially not from a quickly knocked up website with no contact details other than a hotmail email address.

The basic rule of thumb is, "You cannot source authentic branded goods from China".

Ah I see, thanks for that info.

The problem the OP has there are hundreds of similar sites selling the same snide gear.

The end client has the bigger problem if they get intercepted.
