The acclaimed pioneering Baltic based entrepreneurs of the UKBF today met to start serious negotiations over a mega money making franchise based business idea.

Nah not really myself and Tony from VS hosting got together for a beer (or 2) in Riga and it was a great example how the UKBF can bring together like minded business folk.

So now we have set the pace i.e. 2 different countries meeting up how many of you lot actually in the UK will do it?

Meeting will reconvene later :)

How long have you been in Latvia...what motivated you to move there? settling OK? ... I wouldnt want to live in Georgia for more than 6 months. Probably go back to the UK end of Feb for my exams

Just over a year now, long story why I moved here mainly because I work in IT that can be done anywhere and my now wife worked for a British charity here. We will see what happens this year as we're now married and life takes us on new paths, mainly launching her artists career.

Think we'll be here at least another year, will wait and see.

Funnily enough I used to live not far from you in Long Eaton, Notts

I used to live in Derby about 4 years ago. Moved to Teddington, Middlesex. Will probably return to Derby when I get back. I used to work for a company in Long Eaton. Small world.

Nigel and I are meeting up in Coventry in october and I meet up with Luisa (morethanwords) as we live ten minutes down the road from each other!

I should really catch up with Kate (bitsnstuff) as she also only lives 10 minutes away and Hayles is not too far either.

I dont know this boards full of Essex Girls!
