Hi,

I have been having terrible with dell home user support the past week. I am still waiting for them to collect a computer that was due to be picked up last Thursday.

They all promise a courier will come today etc and no one does.

Also there telephone system is a joke. This is my sixth attempt today, I keep on getting diconnected, most of the time in the queue waiting for the dell reception that asks for the tag number, other times get disconnected in the queue. Been having this problem getting disconnected for a week. One night, i stayed in the q for half an hour after giving the tag number and someone picked up and said - "our tools are down please phone tomorrow" and then the line went dead.

Just been disconnected again, AHHHHHHH is anyone else having problems trying to get through to Dell.

the computer: faulty motherboard needs to be replaced

the dell service: I have never had any faults with their service and I have dealt with their support for years. The home user support is usually a bit slow to get everything diagnosed and sorted etc but they usually always get everything sorted in one call. Currenlty, over past week, it takes at least 5 attemps in the queue, being cut off after 10 mins etc and having to call back. I tell every person I speak to there is something wrong with their phone system and they say there is nothing they know of. I have tried from two different land lines and my mobile, same prob. I have no problem phoning anyone else.

I keep on getting fobbed off, e.g. it will be picked up today, etc etc. I demanded a supervisor yesterday and he spoke to citylink who said it would be picked up yesterday afternoon, surprise surprise, not been picked up yet.
