Thought it might get your attention!

I have recently joined the Teneric forum and many other forums. From my experience I have found the UKBF to be the warmest and most friendly forum. On the Teneric forum I hardly got a warm welcome except from those I already know on UKBF.

Way to go Ozzy, this forum is number 1 so I will be around 'til I collect my pension!

Yes, it's very good and easy to navigate. I've used teneric but don't really like it that much.

I have my own community forum, which is also quite friendly amongst our visitors. You're free to take a peek.

I was looking to join forums where my legal expertise would at least be appreciated. Getting legal advice online at no cost is very limited these days so wish to utilise my skills/knowledge to support the small business.

Some forums try to be too 'business-like' and the very small business will find that off-putting. We are not too small and I like to be able to find forums 'approachable' and I try to be the same to encourage members to approach me for ad-hoc advice, which many members have received on here and in private.

I remain dedicated to UKBF! Correct me if I am wrong, but I think UKBF is the biggest UK business forum, with most members.

Teneric seems to just be dead. Nothing seems to happen there. I much prefer the laid back approach here.

Agreed! How come they are number 1 on Google?! I guess because of the way the site is set up by being a sub-directory to the parent domain driving traffic from the main site, as opposed to UKBF being just the forum.

I think Ozzy has been lucky to get lots of nice friendly people to join, there are lots of good hearted people on here, this is the difference, not the business stuff, you can get that on all the forums.

I've joined loads of forums and although I check in every now and again, it's UKBF that I can guarentee replies to my posts and someone to chat with when I'm bored any time day or night.

I agree, this forum is the best. I've got so much help here since I started, and am happy to give some back in return if I can. Its also nice to chat to people who know exactly what you are going through in business!

I feel like I've struck gold when I discovered this forum.

Believe that this forum is not only friendly amongst other business forum but is so much a light relief compared to the teacher forum I hang out!

They are especially rude in the opinion section!

But I've also found this games forum to be really nice and helpful too

www.bgdf.com (board game design forum) where I get some inspiration from.

But this place has become home from home! :D

I can't disagree with anything anyone has said so far. This forum is like a big family. It even has the odd little family squabble here and there, but nothing to make me want to stay away like some other forums.

Love ya'all :)

*sob* Thanks guys

/Ozzy reaches for the tissues ;)

This is a good forum, I know that, but it is down to everyone who plays a part and contributes to them and not just me for keeping them going. Its the community that builds it we do have a great community here.
