I am thinking of approching magazines to allow them (for a subscription via paypal) to advertise their logos/icons on my website. Whats the best way to approach them ? :?:

We run a magazine, why would we want to do this?

....more exposure for your magazine in the relevant market ?
eg.
1) buyer interested in purchasing model toy car
2) buyer searches internet for information on model toy car
3) buyer clicks on shop to buy model car
4) buyer sees web link to model car magazines
5) buyer purchasing copy of model toy car magazine for reviews, previews, shows
= sale for model toy car magazine.

What's you website? Does it get much traffic?
I think people will want to know this stuff, before they'd consider an ad.

Have a look at www.affiliatefuture.biz
They allow you to show offers from the magazine group and dennis publishers - you then eran commission should anyone join by clicking on the banners on your site
