Domain name registered to dissolved company

What happens to a companies possesions when it is dissolved?
A .co.uk domain name I am looking at is registered to a ltd. company who
are now dissolved.
Who is the name technically registered to now, and have nominet a
procedure for re-registering domain names when this happens?

Hi, Try going to whois type in the name it will tell you who registered the name and when it expires you might only have to wait a short period of time it will also give you a option to offer to buy the name. Maybe the company did not register it but their website designer if thats the case you might be able to contact them . Regards Rob.
