I have been stumped!
Ebay has cancelled all my listings today for mentioning my web address in the listing!
I have been foiled. So just a word of warning for anyone else who may do the same thing.
I wonder if I could get away with the following......"I have a website where you can view my work, but am unable to mention it in this listing due to violation of eBay policy. Please google Claire Mackaness to find me!"
What do you think?

Maybe they've done it to stop people using it for advertising, lots of shops on now, they have probably complained of something.

Are you not even allowed if you have a shop on there?

When i've shopped on there, at the bottom Ebay redirect you to the customers shop and goods etc, so they don't really need to put one on.

No not new, I stopped selling on ebay a couple of years ago, when I was asked to stop including a URL

This is what it told me:
eBay prohibits the listing of items that:
1) instruct bidders to not bid and/or
2) offer the item for free from the seller or
3) have low bid prices, but unreasonably high shipping costs or
4) additional costs beyond the bid price
5) offer additional items for direct purchase
6) offer direct sales, including offers to sell or ship the product
before the auction is completed
7) offers to trade the listed item instead of sell it (for monetary
payment)
Hubby suggested watermarking my images with my web address, but it will still get found apparently.

Ebay allow you to put a link to your website from the About Me page, and you are allowed to put a link in your listing to your About Me page. So you could encourage people to click on teh ABout Me page and they will find your link to your website there.
hth!
