Hi,
Can anyone advise me what form I am required to complete for Director's Change of Occupation?
I have a Dormant Ltd Company set up. I completed CH01 for Change of Director's Details. However, Companies House have returned this stating it is incorrect and I must complete the relevant 1985 Companies Act Form.
I cannot find a link on Companies House website for the relevant downloadable form to complete.
Can anyone direct me to the form pleeeeease?:|
***I think I have found it! 288c......would this be the correct form for change of occupation for a Director? Date of change was 12 Sept 2009.
Many thanks.

I don't think I have ever heard of a director changing their occupation. There is no form to do so really, just stick it on the next annual return.

what?
Are you completing dormant accounts or an Annual return?

Oh! What have I done wrong?
The Director is still the Director of the Dormant Company but he has changed his normal occupation. I thought I had to notify Companies House of this change which I have just done with my 'Annual Return'.
I am now wondering if I have given Companies House the impression that he has changed from Director to another occupation within the Dormant Company:|:| Is that the impression I have given you?
Thanks

I have no idea as what you said didn't really make a lot of sense in terms of what you report to Co House.
Sorry

Hello Elaine!
I completed Dormant Accounts and the relevant paperwork that Companies House required but as I say, I have notified them of 'change of occupation' as the Director has paid employment outside of the Dormant Company.
I have a feeeeling I did not need to bother telling them this?

I really wouldn't worry about it. Reporting the change on the Annual Return is just fine, there's no need to send in a form every time a director changes his job title :)

No need to do this at all. Just file dormant accounts - remember to use latest form (if applicable) or an up to date template as a few things have changed.

Hi,
Thank you.
Companies House have now explained that it is the 288c because of the date of change of occupation. Pre-October 09.
Thanks Mike. Have bookmarked your site looks better than the company I used originally;)
