Hi,
I'm trying to sort out some tax issues and I would like an accountant. I emailed 15 companies on Monday and not one got back to me.
So, I'm looking for an accountant in the UK who does not require me to be in the UK.
I received two unsolicited PM's but neither person had a website and I would prefer to use someone who has one as I need some kind of proof that you are legitimate.
Thanks

Where abouts are you located? as location is important

The OP is non-resident but domiciled in the UK. Currently wandering about Asia and resultingly is unsure if he actually resides anywhere for tax purposes.
It seems he intends to move on every 6 months (benefit of the doubt that he's not a con artist, drug dealer etc).

Hi Zeno,
This is for different purposes than I created a thread about yesterday.
I am in Asia but owe some taxes in the UK. I will go into details with someone who wants my money :)

Oh and no, I'm not a drug dealer.
I run a very legitimate business

It is better to give as much detail as you can so that anyone responding will know if they have the experience to help you.

I run an online business and need to pay taxes to the UK government for money I made from April to November that I was there.
I believe I have until the 31/10/2010 to do this in paper or 31/1/2011 to do this online.
I just want someone to help me process this.

Interesting that you have emailed 15 companies and not one has got back to you!
This isn't normal really, as most accountants in my experience would get back to you within a day regarding a new client.
So just wondering if you have presented your needs in the best way?
Good luck

I just contacted the ones on the first page of Google. I have no idea if they are all still in operation.
