View Full Version : Our temporary page - what do you think?

Hi Fellow Members

If anyone remembers our previous website, it was appalling. Our web developer has created a temporary page for us at http://www.handsongroup.co.uk whilst the full site is being developed. The look and feel will more or less be the same, if not better. However, the navigation has been removed with it being a temporary page.

The site can be viewed with the navigation at http://www.handsongroup.co.uk/indexb.html - all functionality on this site has not been enabled.

We are now working on the full site development and would appreciate any constructive comments regarding only the look and feel at this point.

Thanks

General layout looks nice and smart - thing it it's the words that sell you as well - so when you put the words on the site make sure they speak one-on-one to your visitor :)

I find the jargon in the menu goes well over my head. ( Directorates, corporate responsibility ) - IMHO your top nav bar should be for your potential and existing clients and be simpler - less jargon, more benefits.

Hmm...very good points Rob, thanks. I am inclined to agree that some of the main navigation can be displayed as a sub-navigation...

It is good to read what other people think because we are subjective.

Thanks again Rob

Hi Jonathan,

New page looks great, not sure about billy goat man on the front, he's not smiling :D

The page is very neat, clear and easy to use, nice job.

Looks very corp,

the only thing that I can see that lets it down is the non compatability with all browser sizes when I flicked through the different screen sizes.

This only causes issue on 800 x 600 which is probably not applicable for your audience, worth checking though!

Thanks for the feedback Crus - it is intended to look very corporate-ish because it will be a big site indeed. I will pass your feedback to our developer

Thanks

Cheeky, Mel is fitter than a lot of these younger blokes! :D

My hubby says Demi is going a bit manly, she looked better in ghost.
