As we emerge from the recession, now it's the time for expanding your business (http://www.simplybusiness.co.uk/knowledge/articles/2010/03/2010-03-16-five-ways-to-grow-your-business/).
But how?
What are your tips how you can improve your business now the recession seems to be over?

Are we emerging from the recession? Damn, I must have missed that and should remember to tell my customers.:D
There are opportunities to take a substantial jump in growth for your business with calculated risks when we do actually see the rise from the ashes. Just a case of knowing the right time so you are not to late but not to early where you take on excessive burden. Business is fun.

I thought my colleague Josh was a little bit too enthousiastic about the economic recovery ;) .
"doing your business differently" than your competitor is an obvious one. But it makes sense.
Example: when you don't purchase at the same supplier but go direct to the manufacturer or choose another supplier, that could be a way to grow your business.

One of the best ways to grow your business is to get people on board who know what they are doing and to seek advice and information wherever you can.
Become an expert in your field and people will flock to you because it becomes obvious that you are extremely knowledgeable in your subject :)

Face to face referrals - people recommend you, who REALLY understand what you do, but MORE IMPORTANTLY understand you and your business ethos... quality and understanding...

A tad premature me thinks, does your knowledge team monitor what is currently happening in the UK?

"knowledge team", does it sound strange?
Me, Rosie and Josh are writers for the knowledge section of our site.
If you have a better name, post your idea here :)
